FAW and Fuchs are entering into a strategic partnership to provide products and services for China's auto market.
Fuchs China will be working with the Chinese carmaker on the FAW Car Two-tier Service System.
The German producer will be working to develop lubes for specific use in the innovative network, which will be rolled out across maintenance centres nationwide. The deal will give Fuchs access to a lucrative aftersales market.
Fuchs has been strengthening ties with both domestic and international carmakers in China and was recently awarded the Beijing Benz outstanding supplier award for its specialised lubricants solutions. The supplier adds the accolade to its best supplier status with Volkswagen, BMW, BYD and Geely Automotive.
According to Fuchs' website, it is the most important supplier of lubricants in the automotive industry and leads the OEM market.
